Audience:

Polish churches do not allow shorts or bare shoulders so please take suitable clothing if attending our concerts – all inside churches.

Weather:

The weather is very changeable and can be 33C one day and 14C the next! If the morning is good, go up the mountain as it can change in the afternoon. Take the weather as it comes and you won’t be disappointed!

Medication:

If you need to take special medication with you, please make sure it is on your original booking forms as we do not want to get into trouble if we are stopped.

Money:

Polish Zloty, about 4 ½ to £1. DO NOT USE THE BANKS! The money changers are OK and give a good rate, but ‘hole in the wall’ is better. Exchange rate is better over there than here – but take a small amount of money including change if possible. Do NOT take travellers cheques!

Taxi:

NEVER get in a taxi until you have agreed a fee first. They will always understand but pretend not to! And you need to keep within the guidelines the courier gives us. They are more expensive after Midnight as in UK.

Toilets:

VERY IMPORTANT INFO!!!! Always have a 1 zloty coin with you as all toilets are charged for men and women even in restaurants etc. Only free in your room! An attendant will make you pay and doesn’t give change! They are very clean though!!!

If you need any more info or help, please ask!

Looking forward to a great week.

Margaret
