NSW Workshop
Nottingham Symphonic Winds Community Workshop 27th January 2008 9.30 am – 6.30 pm Bluecoat School, Aspley Lane, Nottingham What is it?
A full day of rehearsal and sectional tuition, working with specialist tutors and conductor Keiron Anderson on works for wind orchestra. The day will culminate in an informal concert in the Recital Hall at Bluecoat School.
Who’s it for? Woodwind, brass, percussion and string bass players from Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra and Nottingham Wind Ensemble, plus outside guest players to a maximum of 130. Minimum standard for outside players is Grade 5, with good reading ability.
Who are the tutors?
Specialist tutors are all leaders in their chosen field;

Gerald Douglas (trumpet)
Colin Sneade (low brass)
Jonathan Small (oboe)
Richard Bissal (horn, tbc).
Timetable
Cost £25.00 includes tea, coffee and biscuits and all tuition. Lunch is not provided – please bring packed lunch.
